junior colloquium on theoretical and conceptual advice of PhD candidates after the 4th Meeting of the Section of Educational Research in Wuppertal (22 March 2007)

Based on the concept of "master classes" , we want doctoral graduate students have the opportunity before other young scientists and renowned scientists in the field of educational research to introduce the concept to their own thesis and discuss. The goal is to get into the discussion with other scientists is an unbiased feedback and a specific interpretation of its own approach. These other views are open to young scientists with new perspectives interpretation, perhaps point to previously overlooked technical problems and open up prospects for the solution of problems. Edit
The external view of the conception of a dissertation and the exchange with doctoral students from other universities with similar issues, should have a positive impact on the quality of work and contribute to the networking of young scientists with one another.
For this experiment a new type of doctoral support we have gained excellent designated colleagues. They are: University

The organization of work in groups is optional for the ladies and gentlemen. Provided two three-hour session times (9-12 and 13-16 Clock Clock) are. It is expected to participate throughout the day to allow a mutual exchange between the PhD students.
Since the Federal Ministry of Education and research the project with a financial grant support, participation in the junior colloquium is free of charge. The number of participants is limited, and participants will be considered after the date of registration. The costs for travel and accommodation may have to be payed by yourself (taking into account the subsidy scheme for participants in the previous session).
Interested PhD students can to 1 February 2007 for the junior colloquium and the desired range register. To register just send an informal application by email: aepf-kbbb@uni-wuppertal.de. Besides the name, address, name of supervisor and university must the email the dissertation topic and the desired area of research (see above) included. In addition, submission of draft outline of a meaningful (exposé) by email by 15 February 2007 necessary. The outline must be submitted to expose not only a presentation of the question and the theoretical basis and the method of examination of the thesis, and shall not exceed 5 pages.
