AGE AWARD 2009:
Age Award 2009 goes to the elderly center Laupen
Today, on 15 October, the Zentrum Paul Klee Centre in Bern, the elderly Laupen awarded the Age Award 2009. AGE PROJECT:
Temporary relief for caregivers of people with dementia
The use of relief services can help prevent physical and mental strain in the care of relatives with dementia. Therefore, the Age Foundation in cooperation with the Sonnweid AG and University of Zurich has supported a study their main results are available now in a brochure. It helps caregivers to be clear to the demands on themselves, and provides an overview of relief services. hebes - Benchmarking Switzerland successfully introduced home
Benchmarking is a method of using key data to determine where one's home is in comparison with others. Focus Award 2009 goes to court Obergrüt
the occasion of World Alzheimer's Day on 21 September gives the Lucerne, the Swiss section of the Alzheimer's Association Recognition Award focus. This year, Lucy and Herbert Hafner and her team won. On the farm in Obergrüt Sigigen offers the Hafner family holidays for people with dementia and also receives daily visitors. The Age Foundation which has supported the project with CHF 110'000, congratulates the winners.

live - Cooperative Living in the age
