After I enjoyed the architectural education and I ended up passing through certain key positions now "on the other side" of this subject, I do wonder sometimes, what purpose I generally "Development History" attend to have.
Probably I take myself as an important and could "save" this issue so to speak, because this really the view of qualification from the present cut. But ultimately the question remains in the room and will be again and again to ask and answer new.
Leopold Gerstel always strikes me again to do this when he said again how important it was to be considered in the administrative aspects of the architecture (and its philosophical approach rather than a technical nature was).
Now I'm there, but I recognize unfortunately, the very tight limits within which we can do anything at all.
And so is found in the search for the landmark only what is possible, that has rarely in the right direction, or at least leaves open the viewer what it wants.
The magic word as against the one intended, is awareness.
After all, the administration decides, but all of us - that is, the average gift of perception which is manifested in the political landscape. And the average is low, if there is a lack of awareness. Unfortunately, politicians are often the the geometric and architectural sense one to a maximum of two-dimensional beings.
But enough of the tips, because the promissory note issued by the awareness raising is among architects and planners. The criticism of the policy is unfortunately irrelevant. Around the constant "prayer leader" is no way, so even this blog.
gleanings of Leopold Gerstel
The work-up of the work of architect Leopold Gerstel has become one of two publicly-known companies. Three personal light on the information contained herein:

And here the circle is closed temporarily (for it is this development to continue even considered in general!) In the form this article that I could happily publish as part of my livelihood activities (otherwise he would be now on the blog link on Scribd here, as before some time the article on Gerstel). This shows in any case that a seed, once set, with time delay moves on after the events. This apparently is the atrium stuck ;-)
